* The church pastor, is the Lord Jesus Christ. There are also other pastors (elders) who work together, and minister to those who fellowship and worship in the local church assembly. Our current policy of a church having a single pastor in charge, is alien to scriptural doctrine.

* Church bodies are centered around Jesus Christ, not denominational names or teachings. The local church is referred to by it's location, such as "the church at Jackson." The believers strive to worship as one body, in one accord.

* The church sanctuary is not a part of a building, it is located within physical body of true believers. God dwells in them, and not in a physical structure constructed by a contractor.

* The church is also composed of individual believers, and it is not a building or denominational institution. (or corporation) Believers don't simply go to church, as they are the church. The body of Christ exists 24 hours per day, not only when christians gather for fellowship, meetings, or worship.

* The church welcomes WHOSOEVER wishes to attend, and the primary message preached is the gospel. Differences in belief concerning things like baptism, tithing, and spiritual gifts, etc., are not valid reasons to DIVIDE the family of God into various factions. The unsaved are encouraged to become believers, and they are made to feel loved and welcome. (not despised or pitied)

* The bible should be the church charter, and it's statement of faith. No local church body should seek the approval of a government agency concerning matters of faith. Each local assembly should look for those who are called to preach from within their own local church, and NOT rely on denominational headquarters or universities to provide ministers and church pastors.

* Most of the present day policies and procedures used by local churches and vast denominations, have little, or no basis in scripture. For the most part they have been built upon a system made to please worldly government agencies, and to promote the "clergy & laity" system that God says He HATES in the scriptures. (doctrine of the Nicolaitions, Rev. 2:6 and 2:15)

If Jesus was visiting the church bodies who claim to represent Him today, He would most likely treat the preachers and pastors in the same manner He did the money changers as reported in the scriptures.God is SERIOUS about the Body of Christ, and we had better remember this the next time we try to alter it in any fashion...
